Our focus is on promoting homemade, handmade, do-it-yourself craft with our user-friendly pdf sewing patterns and personalised customer service.
Who Owns Felicity Sewing Patterns?
My name is Stephanie Bull; I am the owner and designer/patternmaker of Felicity Sewing Patterns. I live in the beautiful World Heritage listed Blue Mountains about 150 kms from Sydney in Australia.
My credentials.
I have been a women's wear fashion designer and patternmaker in the garment industry in Sydney for over 40 years; I owned and operated a professional pattern making service for nearly 20 of those years working for industry clients ranging from large corporations to boutiques.
In 2008 I made a major life change and left the city to live in the Blue Mountains. Soon after this I decided to set up Felicity Patterns and opened my first online shop in 2012. I had to learn a lot of new techniques but my long experience, training and skill as a professional designer and patternmaker is the foundation on which Felicity Patterns came to be.
My patterns are made to industry standards but carefully formulated to suit the home seamstress.
Where on earth are we?
Felicity Sewing Patterns is located in Australia but we have always sold our patterns worldwide. The majority of our customers are in the USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe and Australia.
We sell on Etsy, Craftsy, and Makerist as well as here on Felicity Sewing Patterns Website.
How long has Felicity Patterns been established?
Felicity Patterns has been established for more than 7 years. I started the first Felicity Sewing Patterns shop on Etsy in August 2012 followed soon after with the Craftsy shop and about a year later opened an independent website. I upgraded the website to Shopify in early 2017.
Since our beginning more than 50,000 individual patterns have been sold to our customers who have given Felicity Patterns a 5 STAR rating.

Quality, Reliability, Consistency; Felicity Patterns are professionally crafted, scrupulously tested for fit and sizing, with my Industry training and experience I leave no stone unturned when it comes to the quality of my patterns. A great deal of time goes into creating the sewing tutorials for every pattern to ensure that my customers will be able to sew the patterns successfully even if they are just beginners.
Original Designs; You will find that most of my pattern designs are totally original and exclusive to Felicity Patterns; you will not find them anywhere else. I also like to include a few popular styles that are in demand so while you may see similar designs from other pattern companies my versions are all made here at Felicity Patterns so you can be sure you will get the highest quality product.
Does our Sizing work in all countries? Yes! It is very easy and straightforward. Our children’s sewing patterns are sized according to average body size for age. So wherever you are located if your child is 5 years old then you will most likely use a size 5 pattern. Every pattern includes a comprehensive size chart in centimeters and inches so you can compare your child’s body measurements and choose the correct pattern size to use.
Value for your Dollar! I like to make sure that my customers are getting great value out of my patterns. Most Felicity Sewing Patterns include variations on the main pattern design; in fact some patterns have in excess of 5 or 6 versions that can be made from one pattern OR there may be an appliqué template included. On Felicity Patterns Blog you can also find tutorials showing how to alter some patterns for even more style variations.

I just loved this pattern! very straight forward and easy to follow. I have made about 12 or more of these dresses for granddaughter and several family friends little girls. Reversible Halloween, Christmas, sports teams were all a great hit! Grandma scores!!!! Thanks much!!

There was a problem with Etsy and getting this adorable pattern. Stephanie (Felicity Patterns) responded immediately and sent the pattern to me via email.
